This week's recording process ended with a brief moment of chaos. The night of the final mixdown, we noticed a problem with the drum recording. But it was already midnight... much too late to re-record anything. Or was it! We summoned Sean from sleep for an emergency recording session. After five minutes of legendary drumming efficiency, he was back in bed and the drums for the entire song had been successfully tracked. At that rate we could release ten songs per week.

quite weird....only living 2 hours out of the day. sleeping, but-not-sleeping, for the other 22. like a koala bear that never feels rested. it's a split at the seams. it's cellular reproduction on a grander scale. there's me, and me, and me, and me, and me. this house of mirrors is fogging up like crazy. kinda lost myself for a minute there...
but wait! it's ME again...just stopping in to say: don't forget your hot date this sunday!
...more like my hot date.
...our date?
"Heard It All Before"
by The Theory of Funkativity
Verse:
Wrote it all down before
Just to help remember
All the places I come from
All the people I once was
Used to be a prisoner
Used to be a loaded gun
Used to be the emperor
I was the damaged one
I cured disease, I killed with ease
Can you see the things I've done
Without the ghosts, I host
This land would be a barren one
Chorus:
Baby, I have
Seen and done
And heard
It all before
Verse:
Wasn't who I am today
Tomorrow I'll be someone else
Can't wait to meet again
Never get tired of it
Want to be a different age
Want to take another shape
Want a part of something big
But I only get a taste
The many me's disagree
On the choices that I make
They shake their heads in unison
They don't like what I've become
Chorus:
Maybe, I remember
Where I've
Seen your
Face before
Chorus:
Baby, i have
Seen and done
And heard
It all before
Maybe, I remember
Where I've
Seen your
Face before
Verse:
I'm sorry if you're confused
Who are you talking to
Is there someone helping you
Someone to hold onto
I'm sorry if you're confused
Who are you talking to
Is there someone helping you
Someone to hold onto

The bass is temperamental. It's got a disorder or something.
By Michael
There are times when I hate mixing with a passion. I'm there now. It's too much about fixing problems. Such a negative process.
