The Theory of Funkativity

The White Stripes officially announced today that the band is no more. Their music has had an immeasurable influence on The Theory.

Personally, they have affected the way I approach music in every way. From songwriting to mixing, to live performance, to band culture, the White Stripes have a way of doing things unlike any other modern band. It's hard to describe but easy to understand... pop in a record and you'll get it. The perfect synergy between music and culture.

Above all else I really, really like listening to their music, and there aren't many bands left for which I can say that. I wish they would keep making more of it. But damn, talk about going out on top... legendary cult status = cemented. I told you these guys are good.
